Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Joburg Emergency Management Services (EMS) is on the scene of a fire at the metro centre in Braamfontein on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Joburg EMS spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi says the fire has been contained, however, the cause is unknown.<\/p>\n

Mulaudzi says the fire started in the storage area of the building with no injuries reported.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight now, the fire has been contained,\u201d he said adding that authorities would get to the bottom of the cause.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the 702 Drive with John Perlman, Mulaudzi said: \u201cWe are extinguishing the hotspots since the area has been used as a storage area,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Furniture is stored in the area of the building, he added.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is not really much damage to the building,\u201d he said, adding that the furniture suffered damages.<\/p>\n
