Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>The portfolio committee on economic development in KwaZulu-Natal said it would investigate the source of the expired food discovered in Durban on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Police found a warehouse used to keep illicit goods and products imported from other countries in the Bluff, south of Durban on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

\u2014 EWN Reporter (@ewnreporter) November 20, 2024 “Firstly, we want to commend the police for excellent work but on top of that, we are quite worried about this,” said the portfolio committee’s chairperson, Mafika Mndebele.<\/p>\n

Mndebele has also called on the national government to act in order to prevent such incidents.<\/p>\n

“We call upon on the national government and we are aware that they have begun the process to ensure that they buy scanners and close borders.”<\/p>\n
