Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Police say they are making headway in the investigation into the deaths of three police officers whose bodies were recovered in the Hennops River in Centurion, Gauteng.<\/p>\n

The bodies were retrieved in April this year after the group was reported missing.<\/p>\n

Constables Cebekhulu Linda, Keamogetswe Buys, and Boipelo Senoge were last seen travelling from Bloemfontein to Limpopo on a work assignment.<\/p>\n

It is believed that the vehicle they were travelling in plunged into the river.<\/p>\n

Police say preliminary post-mortem reports have been released, while final reports are still awaited.<\/p>\n

\u201cGiven the nature of the outstanding reports, it is not possible at this stage to provide a timeframe for the completion of the investigation. What can be confirmed is that the matter is progressing, and all necessary expertise is being applied to ensure a thorough and credible outcome,\u201d Police spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said.<\/p>\n
