Africa-Press – South-Africa. <\/strong><\/span>Western Cape police have shut down an illegal alcohol manufacturing facility on a farm in Faure.<\/p>\n

Five Malawians were arrested, and large quantities of illegal alcohol were seized during the operation on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Police spokesperson Frederick van Wyk said that the suspects will appear in court once charged.<\/p>\n

“Upon further investigation, the members visited a storage facility in Woodstock, Cape Town, where a Chinese national aged 53 was arrested. A substantial quantity of illegal, pre-packaged alcohol was confiscated at the second location, suspected to be ready for distribution.”<\/p>\n
