The trial was originally set down to run for two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>What was meant to be day three of the 10-day trial was cut short after State Prosecutor Advocate Yuri Gangai indicated he needed to consult with witnesses.<\/p>\n<p>The MK Party said that this delay alone showed the State was not ready to prosecute.<\/p>\n<p>The party&#8217;s national spokesperson, Nhlamulo Ndhlela, questioned the State&#8217;s readiness.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;So this is a fatal, complete case. What more witnesses do they need? Are they telling us that after four years, they couldn\u2019t identify other witnesses?
