They also accused him of mishandling issues related to tender corruption at Tembisa Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the African National Congress (ANC) leading a coalition government in the provincial legislature, nine of the eleven political parties voted to keep Lesufi in office.<\/p>\n<p>Even parties such as the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), ActionSA, and, surprisingly, the Freedom Front Plus (FF Plus) did not back the DA\u2019s bid to remove the premier.<\/p>\n<p>Lesufi believes this broad support demonstrates that parties in the Gauteng Legislature are tired of political instability.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are reclaiming what belongs to our people,&#8221; the premier said following the vote. &#8220;We are reenergized to confront the racism head-on.
