The African National Congress (ANC) national leadership has slammed its Tshwane members who approached the courts to stop the regional conference, instead of using the party\u2019s internal dispute resolution processes.<\/p>\n

Saturday marks day two of the ANC\u2019s 12th greater Tshwane regional conference at the Velmore Hotel in Pretoria, where a new leadership structure is set to be elected.<\/p>\n

The conference was almost disrupted following a last-minute court application by some ANC members seeking to interdict the event, over unresolved disputes.<\/p>\n

However, the interdict was dismissed.<\/p>\n

ANC National Executive Committee member Khumbudzo Ntshavheni said that the party has established mechanisms to resolve such issues internally.<\/p>\n

“Comrades we need to talk, I know the media is here but there are things in the public domain that we cannot run away from. We cannot come from a successful NGC that focus on the renewal of the ANC and we still take each other to court so that a regional conference doesn\u2019t sit. There is organisational processes that are set on resolving our own disputes and we must all live with them.\u201d<\/p>\n
