Instead, the association proposes marching down the Fan Walk on Somerset Road and concluding at the DHL Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>READ: Kaapse Klopse route change sparks outcry over heritage and access<\/p>\n<p>City spokesperson Luthando Tyhalibongo confirmed that the application is under review. Pending the finalisation of safety and logistical planning, the event is scheduled to take place in Green Point on Monday, January 5, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The event will start at 11:00 AM, and the last troupe is expected to hit the parade corridor around 5:00 PM,&#8221; Tyhalibongo stated. &#8220;Free public parking will be made available on P9 and P10 on Bill Peters Drive in Green Point.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>RESPECTING THE HOLY MONTH<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The primary driver behind this request is the shifting timing of the Islamic lunar calendar.
