Africa-Press – South-Sudan. A senior South Sudan main armed opposition official allied to First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny has said that former deputy minister of interior Mabior Garang De Mabior has blocked him on Facebook, after the two clashed over the split of the SPLM-IO which took place in August last year.
In a statement, Dut Majokdit, a member of the SPLM-IO National Liberation Council and close ally to First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny, said Mabior Garang blocked him because he has failed to defame the leadership of the main armed opposition group in Juba.
“The leader of the tomatoes revolution Mabior Garang de Mabior has blocked me today after he failed miserable to defame the SPLM (IO) leadership in Juba to build his relationships that are beyond repair in the palace,” said the furious senior SPLM-IO official.
“This intellectual mercenary of the status quo and beneficiaries of the projects in Nairobi attempted to hack my Facebook this morning. I think being not appointed as the national minister in the (R, TGONU) has taken you far to that extent to block everyone who response to your nonsense on social media,” he added.
“I thought you were an intellectual who can debate issues of national importance for the best interest of our people but your problem is why Puot Kang Chol is appointed as the minister for petroleum but when you was appointed as minister in 2016 nobody has attacked you on your appointment in the ministry of water and irrigation,” he added.
The senior opposition official challenged Mabior to “unblock me if you are not afraid of being challenged over your propaganda all the time about First Vice President Dr. Riek and other comrades who were appointed in the (R, TGONU) including myself without provocation.”
