Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Goals from Murwan Amour and Esam Ezaden were all it took for Al Hilal FC to get sweet revenge and register comfortable victory over Rumbek giants Zalan FC at the South Sudan Cup final yesterday.

The duo struck in the seventh and 93rd minutes respectively to ensure a win for the Wau Local Football Association-South Sudan Cup champions in Juba.

Early this month, the Rumbek side cruised to victory against the Wau side albeit on penalties after ending the game on a 2-2 draw for the normal time. However, this time, Al Hilal FF held firmly for the lead to prevent a dreadful result that befell them last time.

The winner of this tournament, Al Hilal, will now represent the country at the CAF Confederation.

Atlabara FC Juba has been the dominant side flying the South Sudanese flag in numerous continental competitions, notably the CAF Champions League.

The CAF Confederation is an annual club association football competition organised by the CAF since 2004.
