Africa-Press – South-Sudan. Central Equatoria Governor Emmanuel Adil Anthony has committed over SSP3 million for the reconstruction of St. Joseph Senior Secondary School in Lutaya, in Yei County.
While speaking during the ordination of Deacon Justin Salah Martin Juma of Yei Catholic Diocese over the weekend, governor Adil pledged 400 iron sheets to be used in the construction of the diocese that was destroyed during the civil war.
One sheet of iron sheet retails at approximately SSSP 9000.
St. Joseph Senior Secondary School is a Catholic-funded school.

The 2013 war left several infrastructures, including schools and hospitals in Yei River County, in ruins.
The Governor further urged the diocesan administration to swiftly submit their bill of quantity (BOQ) to the state government secretariat for immediate consideration. He added that the construction of the school will help spur the search for education in the county.
He described the just concluded ordination ceremony to the cabinet members as the beginning of a new hope and trust to accelerate the return of the people to their respective places of origin.
