Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The Lebanese government has ordered its citizens to leave Ethiopia after local media reports suggested that alliance of the Ethiopian rebels led by Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) are just 200 miles away from Addis Ababa.
In a statement, the Lebanese foreign ministry said Lebanese families are advised to leave Ethiopia until what it calls an immediate danger is over warning citizens to avoid moving at night wherever they are in Ethiopia.
“Lebanese citizens in Ethiopia, especially families to leave the country as soon as possible until the immediate danger is over and things return to normal,” the Lebanese foreign ministry statement reads in part.
The ministry statement further urged the Lebanese citizens living in Ethiopian to “be careful when roaming at night and to stock up on food and medicine they need for personal consumption when necessary.”
