Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The Managing Director of Nile Petroleum Corporation on Thursday inaugurated a one-kilometer road connecting the company’s headquarters to Ministries Road in Juba.
The tarmac road built by Micro-Star Construction Company is expected to ease traffic and provide mobility benefits to residents.
Funded by the oil firm, the road also connects to the main roads at Hai Thoura and the Customs market.
“I would like to thank the contractor, Micro-Star for its wonderful job and its highly committed contractor. This company doesn’t only represent a commercial entity, he is one person who has been here for a long time,” Eng. Bernard Amour said during the commissioning of the road in Juba on Thursday.
“And a long friend and he believes if there is anything he wants to contribute to this country is this project we have only paid him not even 20% of the money but today we are commissioning the road.”
