Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) committee for the 2022 South Sudan Cup (SSC) competition has urged all clubs to present their original club logos no later than January 10, 2022.
In their notification letter seen by The City Review, SSFA said all the champions of the 2021 South Sudan Cup from the 16 affiliated local football associations and other sub-local football associations must present their logos to SSFA.
“The competition committee of the South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) would like to call to the attention of all clubs taking part in the South Sudan Cup 2022 to present original copies of their logos to the SSFA.”
According to the statement, all logos and sketches should be sent to SSFA. The SSFA then copied Abyei, Renk, Rumbek, Torit, Wau, Yambio, Yei, Aweil, Bentiu, Bor, Kuajok, Malakal, Melut, Nasir, Raja and other local football associations.
In December last year, the competition committee chairman, Mr Wiyual Lam, confirmed that they had pushed forward the kick-off date for the 2022 South Sudan Cup from January 10 to January 20, 2022.
Lam announced this after a committee meeting at SSFA headquarters in Juba last year. “The competition committee has readjusted the kick-off date of the South Sudan Cup 2022 to January 20th instead of January 10th, 2022. And January 5, 2022, will be the date for the draws.”
The competition will bring together the 2021 South Sudan Cup champions from the 16 affiliated local football associations and other sub-local football associations. All the champions of all the local football associations are expected in Juba by January 10, 2022.
