Africa-Press – South-Sudan. The South Sudan Football Association (SSFA) has partnered with KuraBet Company to grow football in the country. The two entities struck an agreement during a meeting held at the SSFA head office on Friday in Juba.
The meeting was chaired by SSFA Deputy Chairperson of the Marketing and Investment Committee, Albino Kuek, and KuraBet Company’s Managing Director, Stephen Aroko.
In a statement to the media, Albino Kuek said the meeting discussed key issues of promoting football activities through working together between the two organisations.
Mr Kuek appreciated the delegation and expressed the need for such collaborations with other similar companies across the country if the country’s football is to grow. He reiterated SSFA’s eagerness to work with KuraBet Company towards the expansion of sports in South Sudan.
“South Sudan Football Association is always ready and will always welcome such initiatives, especially companies that need to extend their helping hands in the development of football in the country,” SSFA Deputy Marketing Chairperson said.
Kuek urged other private companies to follow in the footsteps of KuraBet Company to render the same care to South Sudan through backing sports events in order to put the country’s football on the world map.
Meanwhile, Stephen Aroko KuraBet, the company’s Managing Director, expressed the company’s attention to working closely with SSFA towards uplifting football in the country.
He said it was only through working together that the two would achieve their goal of making a unique tool for promoting peace in the country. The KuraBet Manager, described the meeting as vital, which disused and touched the important areas of sponsorship and collaboration between the two.
“As I mentioned before, KuraBet Company is ready to work with SSFA for the development of football in the country through sponsoring football activities in the country,” Manager Aroko assured.
He revealed that his company had presented a proposal for sponsorship of all SSFA tournaments while waiting for the association’s feedback to implement their commitment. Kurabet is a South Sudan based betting company managed by Kurabet Gambling and Lottery Company and Sudd Hosting Technologies.
