Africa-Press – South-Sudan. South Sudan’s government on Wednesday presented the fiscal national budget 2021/2022 before the Revitalized Transitional National Legislative Assembly (R-TNLA), after the government operated without an approved budget for two years.

The SSP287.04 billion was presented before the national parliament by the Minister of Finance and Planning Agak Achuil. Speaking before the parliament this afternoon, Achuil said the economic sector has been allocated SSP 73 billion; education sector will receive SSP 49.2 billion and SS27.02 billion was allocated to the health sector.

The senior government official added that further said humanitarian sector will get SSP 3.3 billion, while the security sector with SSP 18.9 billion. In September last year, the cabinet passed 287.04 South Sudanese Pounds budget for fiscal year 2021-2022.
