Equatoria Broadcasting Cooperation’shonest family Association over the weekend launched a wide-ranging environmental cleaning at Al-Sabah Children’s Hospital as part of their plan of action.
Honest family Association was formed by Equatoria BroadcastingCooperation audiophiles particularly with the aim to exercise free services for the benefit of the public.
The executed initiative carried out came as part and partial of implementing the association’s plan of action as stipulated for the year 2022.
The cleaning program was conceded out by a number of people which entailedEBC active listeners (fans), journalists from media houses in both print and broadcasting departments as well as personnel’s within the hospital.
Speaking to the media at Al-Sabah Children’s hospital, Peter Dada the chairperson of the Association said that the exercise carried out towards cleaning the children’s hospital was meant to keep the surrounding where admitted infant patients clean and sustainable for the medical staff.
‘’What made us to carry the exercise of cleaning the hospital is because, the children, as well as the Country, belong to us, therefore it is our mandate as listeners of Equatoria Broadcasting Cooperation to make sure that our children are set free from other infectious diseases that will later deteriorate their health further’’ Dada said
He further stressed out that they have indicated a number of activities as Stated in the 2022 plan of action.
He added that the initiative carried was an indication that South Sudan has potential people capable to deliver for the nation and could not wait for an external body to run services to the nation.
‘’The exercise we are carrying is an indication that South Sudan has potential people capable to deliver for the nation without an external body to help’’ Dada added
In progression, Dada urged South Sudanese to remain patriotic leaving tribal differences aside, and remained focused on developing the nation to improve the domicile’s standard of leaving.
‘’I call on South Sudan citizens to be patriotic and focused towards developing the nation to improve people’s standard of living
Dada underscored that the Association in their next activity shall move to Gurei hospital to carry the same exercise since the demand for sanitation there.
‘’From here, we shall be moving to Gurei hospital to ensure that the same cleaning exercise is done since the demand for sanitation is very high there’’ He underscored
In her part, Sumaya Mohamed, EBC listener and the Deputy chairlady for the organising team said, despite the challenges they went through while organising the exercise, she was delighted to see women participate in cleaning the hospital as well as consoling pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
‘’I am so happy to see women joining the team, cleaning the hospital and advising pregnant and lactating mothers at the hospital’s premises. This is a clear indication that women are active and potential in regard to health activities’’ Sumaya added
However, the health team at El-Sabah hospital expressed joy towards the initiative carried by EBC honest family ensuring that the hospital remained clean for the health of the infants.
