Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The deputy chairman of Sudan Transitional Sovereign Council, General Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has arrived in Juba this afternoon, according to a statement by the presidency.<\/p>\n

The statement said Daglo, who is better known as \u2018Hemeti\u2019, met President Salva Kiir Mayardit at the state house J1 and discuss the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis Excellency Salva Kiir Mayardit, President of the Republic received and held a meeting with the Deputy Chairman of Sudan Transitional Sovereign Council H.E. Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo and his accompanying delegation,\u201d the statement said.<\/p>\n

The statement said Kiir and Daglo \u201cdiscussed issues pertaining to the status of the ongoing implementation of the Revitalized Peace Agreement and the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan.\u201d<\/p>\n
