Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Two boys were killed and four others injured when a grenade went off in a suburb of the Jonglei State capital, Bor, on Saturday, the police said.<\/p>\n

Majak Daniel Tuor, The state police spokesperson, Majak Daniel Tuor, told Radio Tamazuj that the boys were playing in a house in Bor\u2019s Langbar area when the incident occurred.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe incident occurred on Saturday at 11 am killing two children instantly and injuring four others. As the police, we rushed to the scene and took the injured to the hospital,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

The police spokesperson pointed out that an investigation into the incident is ongoing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThose children were playing in one of the huts when the incident occurred, according to the neighbors. Whether there was an argument or what exactly triggered the blast and who owned the grenade is what we are investigating,\u201d Major Majak said.<\/p>\n

He added that the incident was unfortunate and advised the residents of Bor to take precautionary measures.<\/p>\n
