The religious leaders in Pagirinya refugee settlement have strongly appealed to all the Christians in all settlements and across the region to stick to their Faith as they usher into the Easter period. Rev Fr.<\/p>\n

Denis Isa Iranya, the Director of Holy Cross of Indriani Pilgrim Centre Catholic Mission explained the meaning of the Easter holiday in Christian life as the beginning of the Lent season and he reminds the Christians to reflect on their lives as in the following report.<\/p>\n

Fr. Iranya once again challenged the Christians to embrace the day by doing some charitable work in families just like what Jesus the Savoir did during His time of ministry.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet us leave our differences and strengthen our faith to God,\u2019\u2019 he said. Similarly, Rev Fr.<\/p>\n

Sam Ajandu the Vicar of The Church of Uganda in Pagirinya one refugee settlement strongly urged all the Christian families across the region regardless of religion and affiliation to use the day to forgive one another as in the following report.<\/p>\n

In 2014, Pagirinya and Nyumanzi has become the largest refugee settlement in the Adjumani district in terms of population size of approximately 43,000 men, women, and children. Nyumanzi refugee settlement is largely populated by refugees from South Sudan mainly the tribes of Nuer, Madi, Dinka, and so on.<\/p>\n

Nyumanzi refugee settlement is home to more than 20,000 long-term refugees displaced by the conflict in South Sudan.239,335 refugees from South Sudan are being hosted in this refugee settlement of Nyumanzi refugee settlementNyumanzi refugee settlement though being the largest in Adjumani District has only 6 schools in total with three being primary schools where more than 4,000 children go every day, these schools were all established by the Building tomorrow, one NGO that has greatly been supporting Education in Adjumani and part of South Sudan.<\/p>\n
