The Chair of Specialized Committee for Information in Revitalized National Transitional Legislative Assembly (R-NTLA) echoed in the unknown nonsense address that, the time has come to face reality and say the truth about westerners who perceived South Sudan as dumping ground and related it to recent Ukraine-Russia Conflicts, where he called world Super powers American barking dogs at the backdoors with their senseless sanctions.<\/p>\n

The Chairperson Mr. John Agany quoted for a long time the westerners and highly developed Countries have taken South Sudan as a dumping ground, with comparative sanctions meted on individuals to tarnish the image of the Country.<\/p>\n

He cautioned the dubbed \u2018hired agents\u2019 who come to South Sudan to work undercover with ill-intent to tarnish the Country\u2019s image with negative propaganda.<\/p>\n

Mr. Agany the member of Parliament said yesterday in his capacity as the guest of honor to the Monthly Breakfast meeting organized by the Union of Journalists of South Sudan (UJOSS) which brought together, diplomats from the diplomatic core, government officials, and journalists in the Media Fraternity.<\/p>\n

He also relates to recent conflicts of Ukraine -Russia where Westerners especially Americans the World Super Powers to be doing very little to salvage situation than passing sanctions at the backdoors\u2019 seat.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe World is now aware of what Western American superpowers have shown in the face of Ukraine \u2013Russia Conflicts by doing little to save than only passing sanctions at the backseat. We see now sanctions meted on individuals just to tarnish the image of the country, and this is through hired agents working here undercover\u201d, he stated during the closing remarks of the Breakfast meeting.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will continue to investigate these journalists who work as double agents for the West in the name of tarnishing the image and we urged you to respect laws of this Country\u201d, he concluded.<\/p>\n

However, last Month the chairperson of the information committee and spokesman at South Sudan\u2019s Reconstituted Transitional National Legislative Assembly (R-TNLA) John Agany Deng has claimed that lawmakers are not allowed by the transitional constitution to call for press conferences without prior approval from his committee.<\/p>\n

This comes after members of the National Security Service (NSS) detained eight journalists in Juba on Tuesday for turning up to cover a press conference called upon in the parliament\u2019s premise by opposition lawmakers mostly from the Sudan People\u2019s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO) led by First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny.<\/p>\n

The lawmakers had called for the press conference to address issues to do with the lack of progress in the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement, as well as the conditions that the lawmakers are living in since the formation of the revitalized parliament.<\/p>\n
