Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>At least 3 people were injured in clashes involving Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in the Mahad camp in Juba, Central Equatoria State early this week.<\/p>\n

In a statement obtained by Nyamilepedia, Mayen Kur Kuer, the camp leader, said that the clashes were between two rival but neighboring communities of Anyuak and Murle. The camp chairman said more than 3 people were injured but their injuries were not severe because they fought by hands.<\/p>\n

Major General Daniel Justin, the South Sudan National Police Spokesperson, said he has yet to receive a report about the matter. Mahad IDP Camp is home to about 2,000 displaced people who fled their homes in Jonglei State following the 2013 conflict.<\/p>\n
