Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Governor of Lakes State Rin Tueny Mabor has warned the newly sworn-in cabinet members and commissioners against abuse of power. Mabor said the authority given to the officials belongs to the people.<\/p>\n

Speaking after the swearing-in ceremony, Governor Mabor congratulated the officials and instructed them to promote peace among communities in the states and the entire country. He urged them to embrace good governance and democracy through enforcement of law and order to deliver services to the citizens.<\/p>\n

The newly sworn-in officials include Legal Advisor, Benjamin Makuer Mabor, Minister of Local Government and Law Enforcement Agencies, Chol Kuotwel Manhom, Minister of Land, Housing and Public Utilities, Mawet Manuer Kok, Minister of Labor and Public Services, Jok Ayom Majak, Minister of General Education and Instructions, Nelson Makoi Makur.<\/p>\n

The Deputy Commissioner for Employees Justice Chamber, Com Mapuor Malek Malual, Commissioner of Rumbek Central County Dut Manak, Commissioner of Rumbek East County Samuel Mading Gaak, Commissioner of Yirol East County Manyang Luk Lueth and Commissioner of Rumbek North County Isaac Mayek Noi in the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity.<\/p>\n

The swearing-in was administered in the State Secretariat by the President of the Rumbek High Court, Justice Michael Atem Chol Mabor reminded the newly sworn-in cabinet members and commissioners of the state government policy which is the protection of human life and their property.<\/p>\n

He urged them to prepare their people for cultivation to produce enough food to eradicate hunger in the state. He urged the officials to stick to their role in the implementation of the revitalised peace agreement, as it is the only window to peace and stability in the country.<\/p>\n
