Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan senior presidential advisor and former minister of defense Kuol Manyang Juuk has accused unnamed group of people of trying to create problem against him out of his intention to retire from politics and joint the private sector.<\/p>\n

This comes after Manyang wrote a statement clarifying history of his intention to retire from politics after speculations that he was vying for President Salva Kiir Mayardit\u2019s position.<\/p>\n

Speaking to the SBS Dinka Radio Australia, Manyang said he wrote the letter to clarify to the public when his intention to leave politics started, accusing some people of wanting to create problem out of it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wrote the letter which is circulating and that because I wanted to make a clarification on when I made my intention of wanting to leave the Government known to President Kiir in 2015,\u201d Manyang said.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people wanted to create a problem out of my wishes to go into the private sector to farm, but farming is another form of development,\u201d the presidential aide added.<\/p>\n

He pointed out that \u201cmy desire to leave the Government is not a protest because I am doing it to motivate and encourage our people to see agriculture as another way of raising revenues for the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOf course, my President has my support, and he will always, but people should know that I was clarifying.\u201d<\/p>\n
