The Ninth Batch for Chinese Medical Team with support from the National Health mission donated medical equipment to the Ministry of Health. Yolanda Awel Deng Juach, Minister of Health said that the team will work collaboratively with her technical team and other stakeholders to improve the infrastructure of the State and county teaching and referral hospitals.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis cooperation will go long way because we have more projects that people of China and people of South Sudan will cooperate together. I appreciate the people of China for positive response to help the government of South Sudan as well the Ministry of Health appreciates China\u2019s ambassador to South Sudan for a donation from your country, particularly the Ministry of Health,\u201d<\/p>\n

She added that she expressed her sincere thanks to China for this generous donation and pledged to make full use of the medicine and equipment for the benefit of the local people. Also, she appeals to health care professionals to take ownership of this equipment to manage them well.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, China Ambassador, Hua Ning said that every year, the Chinese medical team conducts field treatment outside Juba, they have visited several States to provide free medical services to people living in the States.<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate Chinese medical teams for their excellent performance in Juba Teaching Hospital and I appreciate the Ministry of Health, Staff in Juba Teaching Hospital for continuous support to Chinese medical teams. It is my pleasure to join and witness the handover ceremony for medical supplies donated by Chinese medical teams with support from the national health mission,\u201d<\/p>\n

He added that Chinese doctors conduct daily health services to local patients as well as training programs for health care students. China will continue to help South Sudan strengthen its capacity of medical services.<\/p>\n

However, Dr.Ding Zhen, the Chinese Medical Team leader said that they are providing medical services at the health facilities in different States. \u201cEarlier, the medical team visited Lakes State for three days to provide medical services,\u201d<\/p>\n
