Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>About 33 individuals suspected to be members of a Juba-based gang, popularly known as \u201cniggers,\u201d were arrested over the weekend, the Juba City Council has said. They included 17 boys and 16 girls.<\/p>\n

Addressing the media on Sunday, Juba City Council Mayor, Michael Allah-Jabu, said the suspects were arrested on Saturday night at various nightclubs around the city. The arrests were made in Lologo, Atlabara, and Hai Referendum.<\/p>\n

Allah-Jabu said the rampant operations of the criminal gangs had gone a notch higher, forcing him to shut down the nightclubs.<\/p>\n

He said the members of niggers have gone ahead and printed t-shirts for their group members with names such as \u201cFire Boys International (FBI), Ganja Group, Black Warriors, Toronto, Soldier Boys, Finger Boys, Bad Still Boys, Young Money, among others.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are moving on ahead and shall not stop until we end this issue of niggers in the city.\u201d We are not going to allow this practise to go on,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are looking for the ring leaders of this so-called nigger groups, and when we get them, they shall face the law,\u201d Allah Jabu said.<\/p>\n

He released the detained youth after their families gave a guarantee that they would change and cease to be part of the nigger groups.<\/p>\n

The mayor further cautioned them and urged them never to set foot near nightclubs.<\/p>\n

He promised firm action against any members of that gang who were found near nightclubs.<\/p>\n

The gang members have terrorised the public for quite some time now, creating insecurity and making Juba residents live in constant fear. There are constant fights among themselves that have led to the loss of lives and serious injuries.<\/p>\n

Mayor Allah Jabu stated that they will not be deterred in their efforts to eradicate the practice and culture of niggers.<\/p>\n

In February this year, the National Security Service (NSS) arrested over 10 suspects linked to Toronto, a rampant motor-crazed gang terrorising residents in Juba.<\/p>\n

The operation was triggered by a series of organised crimes blamed on the gang members, such as phone and bag snatching.<\/p>\n
