Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Jonglei State High Court has dismissed a civil suit against Mabior Atem Mabior in a dispute case involving the affairs of Bor College High School.<\/p>\n

Last year, the chairperson of the Board of Directors of Bor College High School, Panther Alier Akuei, dismissed Mabior Atem as the school director as well as a board member citing mismanagement of the school fund.<\/p>\n

But while announcing the verdict on Thursday, the presiding judge, John Yel Aleu, dismissed the case with all it cost and reinstated Mabior as one of three shareholders of the school.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy decision as the court is that civil suit that was raised by Panther Alier against Abraham Mabior is dismissed with its cost. The ownership of the company of Bor College high school limited is for all shareholders including Stephen Reech Akuak Mabior Atem and Panther Alier accepts Abraham Chol Kec based on his resignation on 17th 2016 which was accepted on the date 21 December 2016,\u201d the judge said.<\/p>\n

Yel said all the parties have 15 days to appeal if they are not convinced with the court ruling.<\/p>\n

However, the lawyer who represented the complainant, Panther Alier Akuei, welcomed the Court ruling.<\/p>\n

Mr. Aleer Buot Mayen said his client will not appeal the judgment.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe judgment is fair and the complainant is satisfied with the ruling. It was just a small case of when Mabior Atem wrote a letter to Panther Alier that you would see what to do. Then Panther decided to open a case against Mabior because he knows that he is the shareholder in the company but with the court ruling both the complainant and the accused agreed with the court ruling,\u201d Buot Said.<\/p>\n

Mabior also welcomed the court ruling.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo, today\u2019s court ruling has been welcomed because in partnership each and everyone has the right to have what he deserved. And it is now clear that Bor College belongs to three people based on the court ruling and I am satisfied with it that,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He added that the three shareholders of Bor College High School who have been declared by the court including himself will then plan a meeting on how to move forward.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow what we are going to do as partners since we were having some differences but we are going to sit down and see the ways forward.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we have to dissolve the partnership then we will see and if we are to continue, we will continue educating future leaders of this country,\u201d Mabior added.<\/p>\n
