Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Authorities in Aweil Center County of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State say they have started construction of the administrative guest house and Women League Premises in the area.<\/p>\n

The entities are expected to provide accommodations to visitors and space for women’s activities in the area.<\/p>\n

The Commissioner of Aweil Centre County, Peter Natale, told Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday the work is being financed through contributions made by the locals there.<\/p>\n

He said the work on the two grounds is expected to be accomplished within two months.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have gathered bricks and sand to the workplace with little thing we have, we are constructing women league and county guest house,\u201d Peter Natale said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have enough bricks and other local materials and we want to conclude the activities in two-month,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

For her part, the Chairlady of the Aweil Center Women Association, Abuk al-Zubair, said the centre is also expected to provide capacity building for women in the county.<\/p>\n

Abuk, however, appealed to well-wishers to provide them with extra building materials to complete the work.<\/p>\n

\u201cWomen will meet there and if there is an organization, it may support them with tailoring and discussing women’s activities,\u201d Abuk said. \u201cWe need iron sheets, cement, doors and windows.\u201d<\/p>\n
