Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>A spokesman for the deputy chair of Sudan\u2019s Transitional Sovereign Council Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has denied knowledge of any letter sent by the head of South Sudan National Youth Union (SSNYU) Gola Boyoi Gola painting a new picture of the alleged letters sent foreign letters such as him and Egyptian president.<\/p>\n

Last week, South Sudan\u2019s Minister of Youth and Sports Albino Bol Dhieu accused the Boyoi of writing to foreign leaders including President Abdelfattah al Sisi of Egypt and deputy chair of Sudan\u2019s head of transitional sovereign council asking them for a meeting to discuss issues such as the dispute over Abyei.<\/p>\n

Gola has denied writing to the two foreign leaders and then accused unnamed \u2018enemies\u2019 of his leadership forging documents to set him against the minister of youth and sports who later went on to suspend Boyoi and formed an investigative committee to probe the authenticity of the alleged letters.<\/p>\n

But when contacted by Sudans Post, the spokesman of Sudan\u2019s Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Gen. Gamal Jumaa Adam said he has no knowledge of any letter being receiving by General Hemeti who is also the commander of RSF saying none of the youth groups in South Sudan had sent it through the management of General Hemeti\u2019s management.<\/p>\n

\u201cI spoke to my colleagues in the office of the commander and the deputy president of the sovereign council but they said they have received any letter from any youth organization in South Sudan and I don\u2019t think that they have sent us any letter,\u201d Gen. Gamal told Sudans Post\u2019s Nancy Abdelraman.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot even a foreign youth body sent a letter to us,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Gola has defied the suspension and said minister Bol has no constitutional power to suspend him saying he was elected by the youth of South Sudan and that his attempts to remove him are \u201cpolitically motivated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI did not write any letter. And I put it clear that these letters, I have not even seen them myself. People are just talking about how it was circulated in 2020. Like a lot of letters have been forged,\u201d he told Eye Radio on Saturday.<\/p>\n
