Africa-Press<\/a> – South-Sudan<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan\u2019s delegation to the 76th United Nations General Assembly led by Vice-President for Gender and Youth Cluster Rebecca Nyandeng De Mabior has arrived in the United States\u2019 capital Washington DC, days after leaving Juba.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Garang \u2018s office said the vice-president arrived in Washington DC on Monday and paid a visit to South Sudan\u2019s embassy there and will spend a week in the US capital before proceeding to New York City where the annual UN meeting is expected to take place.<\/p>\n

\u201cYesterday, the Vice President and her delegation paid a courtesy visit to the South Sudan Embassy in Washington D.C. The Vice President is honoured to be delegated by H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit to address the United Nations General Assembly in New York,\u201d the vice-president\u2019s office said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe delegation will spend 1 week in Washington D.C. meeting with senior U.S. government officials before travelling to New York.
