Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The National Ministry of Education has allocated SSP 75 million from the budget to Upper Nile State.<\/p>\n

With the funds now available, Upper Nile State Information Minister, Luke Saadallah Deng called on teachers including those residing in the protection of civilians site to come out and resume their work in the schools.<\/p>\n

Also, Saadallah confirmed that the national minister of education, Awut Deng Acuil, had resolved the row over four months salaries in the state.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe problem was that state teachers received their salaries last week for four months, and they thought it was the incentives given to them by the national ministry of general education,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He said the misunderstanding forced Acuil to travel to the state to sit down with the teachers to explain to them.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe sat down with them and explained to them that the money they received was their salaries for four months, with evidence that they received them through Paysheet.\u201d<\/p>\n

Saadallah said the teachers were convinced by the explanation of the national minister of education that\u201cthere is no misunderstanding again, indicating that all salaries with the new increase one hundred per cent.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same context, Awut also handed over a primary school called Malakiya which was built by UNICEF.<\/p>\n

She called on the girls to concentrate on their studies to secure a bright for themselves and the country at large.<\/p>\n
