Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Speaker of the national parliament, Jemma Nunu Kumba said her foundation is not politically affiliated, but rather an independent organization that will empower youth, women and children in the country.<\/p>\n

Nunu, the country\u2019s first female speaker said the foundation is an independent, non-profit organization, which is neither run by the government nor affiliated with her political position.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe initiative is really nonpartisan it has nothing to do with politics some people may think this foundation is a political organization,\u201d said Nunu during the official launch on Friday.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is absolutely a non-governmental entity to help empower youth and women and children across South Sudan of course as one of the women leaders of the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMy aim is to create a platform that will help to allow us to support our vulnerable communities as a practical demonstration of social cooperate responsibility.\u201d<\/p>\n

The foundation was established in August. 6th, 2022 at freedom hall.<\/p>\n
