Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Bangasi Joseph Bakosoro says his ministry received thousands of reports of unlawful dismissal, suspension, and promotion of civil servants from the states.<\/p>\n

Bakosoro has accused state authorities of violating the civil service 2011 Act which protects the rights of government employees at all levels.<\/p>\n

He says those unlawfully recruited should be dismissed, and the ones who unfairly lost their jobs be reinstated.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey are not appointed according to public service regulation; they need to be dismissed unless a certain procedure was applied according to public service regulation,\u201d Bakosoro said.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou don\u2019t just appoint. The appointment must be through a committee or through a proper procedure of hiring. You don\u2019t dismiss anybody and then hire anybody in civil service and if it happens, it is illegal and whatever is illegal, must be abandoned\u201d.<\/p>\n
