Africa-Press<\/a> – South-Sudan<\/a>. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit has issued a republican decree appointing head of the nation\u2019s state protocol and dismissing a member of Central Equatoria state government.<\/p>\n

In the presidential decree read out on the state-owned South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation (SSBC), President Kiir appointed Honorable Sebit Bullen as Chief State Protocol effective Monday evening.<\/p>\n

In many countries, the office of Chief State Protocol, usually a division of the ministry of foreign affairs primarily advises and assists the president, vice president and foreign minister on matters of diplomatic protocol, or etiquette.<\/p>\n

In a separate republican decree, Kiir dismissed Kenyi Abiyassa John Wani, deputy chairperson of HIV and AIDS commission for Central Equatoria state, and replaced him with Drani Joseph Timothy.
