Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Minister of General Education and Instruction has welcomed President Salva Kiir directive for the enforcement of free primary and secondary education across the country.<\/p>\n

On Monday, President Salva Kiir directed the state and national governments to comply with the constitution and enforce the free education policy.<\/p>\n

Minister Awut commended the President\u2019s decision to make basic and secondary education free in public schools.<\/p>\n

She said this is in line with the provisions of the constitution, which stipulate compulsory and free education for all.<\/p>\n

Awut made the remarks during the launch of laboratories at the Maridi Girls Secondary School, a boarding school in Maridi County on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
