{"id":31927,"date":"2023-02-10T13:56:21","date_gmt":"2023-02-10T13:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/south-sudan\/all-news\/jica-trains-15-global-media-managers-in-japan"},"modified":"2023-02-10T13:56:21","modified_gmt":"2023-02-10T13:56:21","slug":"jica-trains-15-global-media-managers-in-japan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.africa-press.net\/south-sudan\/all-news\/jica-trains-15-global-media-managers-in-japan","title":{"rendered":"JICA trains 15 global media managers in Japan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600\"><strong>Africa-Press &#8211; South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>Eye Radio\u2019s Station Manager, Koang Pal Chang joins media managers from around the world in Japan for training on the role of media in democratic countries.<\/p>\n<p>The 15 media professionals are also undergoing training on access to information and functions of the media as a watchdog, in Tokyo.<\/p>\n<p>The training is organized by the Japan International Corporation Agency or JICA, and NHK International (or rather Japan Broadcasting Corporation.)<\/p>\n<p>The participants in the program are media managers from public broadcasters and independent media institutions from Africa, Eastern Europe, and South East Asia countries.<\/p>\n<p>They come from South Sudan, Ghana, Cote d\u2019Ivoire, Malawi, Zambia, Kosovo, Fiji, and Cambodia.
