Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Malakia Court in South Sudan’s capital, Juba, has adjourned Wednesday\u2019s session set for the final ruling on the case of the Pieri plane crash involving an airliner and the victims\u2019 families, to Friday.<\/p>\n

In March 2021, a small aircraft (HK 4274) belonging to a local company, South Supreme Airlines, crashed shortly after takeoff from an airstrip in Pieri town in Jonglei state, killing all 10 people on board.<\/p>\n

Following the crash, the victims\u2019 families has since sought seeking legal redress.<\/p>\n

“Today\u2019s session was supposed to be for the passing of the final verdict but the presiding judging did not show up. So, the case was adjourned to Friday, 24 February 2022,\u201d Nyok Kuol, an advocate representing the complainants told Radio Tamazuj this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Makuei Puok Bai, a representative of the Victim’s families said they were told that their case was adjourned because the presiding judge was not on duty and that they are ready to attend Friday.<\/p>\n
