Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The governor of Central Equatoria State, Emmanuel Adil, directed the newly-appointed coordinator of security affairs for Kajo-Keji County, Wani Richard, to cooperate with the security apparatus and deal with cases of insecurity.<\/p>\n

This, he said, would help in building sustainable peace and security in the area.<\/p>\n

According to a statement released by the governor\u2019s press unit, Adil said that for the county to be safe from insecurity, there is a lot that needs to be done.<\/p>\n

He urged the security coordinator to work with the local authorities in the state to stabilise security.<\/p>\n

The coordinator for security affairs for the Kajo Keji local government council, Wani Richard, said he was ready to work jointly with the security operatives to ensure stability.<\/p>\n

Wani said the youth in the area were ready to help address the insecurity in Kajo Keji and foster a path for the return of the refugees from the neighbouring countries.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe county needs peace and stability in the county, so the youth must work together to achieve lasting peace in Kajo Keji county and central Equatoria at large,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are tired of conflict in the county; enough is enough! We need peace for the people to return to the country,\u201d Wani said, adding that the security situation in Kajo Keji was improving on a daily basis.<\/p>\n

He appealed to the community to cooperate with the local government to stabilise peace and security in Kajo Keji.<\/p>\n

Mr. Wani hailed the governor and the authorities for the trust bestowed upon him to partake in this noble docket as a coordinator of security-related affairs in the county.<\/p>\n

Last month, following a border dispute between the Kajo Keji Community and some Ugandan nationals living at the border, Governor Adil formed a committee to resolve the dispute.<\/p>\n
