Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Undersecretary in the Ministry of Peace Building, Pia Philip, appealed to the youth in the country to embrace peace and unity.<\/p>\n Addressing the launch of the \u201cPeace Begins with Me\u201d campaign at St Mary\u2019s College in Juba on Friday.<\/p>\n Pia said the youth in South Sudan have been misused by politicians to fight a war about which they do not know the root causes.<\/p>\n \u201cWe need to cultivate a culture of peace and forgiveness, and say no to violence in South Sudan.<\/p>\n \u201cWe need the refugees to come back home before the election, and that is why the government is planning to disseminate the peace agreement in the camps in order for the refugees to come home and enjoy relative peace,\u201d Pia added.<\/p>\n He called on the people to be patriotic and not portray the country in a bad light, as he warned that such acts keep the refugees away from home.<\/p>\n The Chief of the Communication and Public Information Department at the UNMISS, Ben Dotsei, said the youth makes up the majority of the country\u2019s population of about 70 percent who must not be ignored.<\/p>\n \u201cThe crucial discussions and actions regarding peace building in South Sudan.
