Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>A four-month-old Enock Edward, with a heart complication, will now travel to Israel for treatment after the parents brought the infant to Al-Sabah Children\u2019s Hospital, thanks to Eye Radio.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, Dr Amanda Billy, a paediatrician at the hospital, appealed to the public through Eye Radio to help in finding the parents of Enock Edward.<\/p>\n

She said the parents of the four-month baby, whose names she did not know, provided the wrong telephone number and cannot be traced.<\/p>\n

She feared that the lack of communication with the family put baby Edward at risk of missing out on the opportunity.<\/p>\n

The health professional then contacted Eye Radio in the hope of finding the infant before the beneficiaries travel to Israel next week.<\/p>\n

The doctor urged the couple in question to bring the child back to Al-Sabah Hospital.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Eye Radio this morning Dr. Amanda Billy said the parents brought the infant to the hospital after Eye Radio broadcast the story.<\/p>\n

She added the parents are currently at the hospital for scanning.<\/p>\n

Dr Amanda expressed her gratitude to Eye Radio for reporting the matter.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy colleague called me from the hospital that Enock came and he is going to start the process he came today, Thursday, August 17,\u201d said Dr Amanda.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe [the mother] said the neighbours are the ones who heard the information on the radio and informed her, she heard it on the radio,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe [the mother] does not have a passport so the doctor took her to immigration today to issue a passport.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to file everything because there are some investigations and screening then tomorrow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI am going to fill out the visa form and share it with the donors and hopefully if the process goes well maybe next week or the other week they will travel.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI appreciate what [Eye Radio] has done Thank you so much\u201d.<\/p>\n
