Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The National Communication Authority has urged law enforcement agencies and the authorities in various states and administrative areas to protect telecommunications installations against vandalism in South Sudan.<\/p>\n

The Director General of the National Communication Authority, Napoleon Adok Gai made the remarks during a meeting with the telecommunication operators in Juba on Thursday.<\/p>\n

Adok Gai disclosed that sites have been vandalized and Batteries, Solar systems, and Fuel have been taken away.<\/p>\n

He further said that some Land Lords are taking the law into their hands by shutting down the sites due to their personal grievances.<\/p>\n

The meeting also discussed mechanisms for the development and operation of the network sites constructed by the Universal Service and Access Fund.<\/p>\n
