Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The President of Nasir FC Juba has resigned and warned that many senior officials might follow to exit over the mismanagement of football activities in Juba.<\/p>\n

Youhanis Musa Puok on Friday resigned from his position as the president of Nasir FC, a Juba-based club citing the suspension of football activities in Juba.<\/p>\n

He also attributed disputes arising among associations in South Sudan.<\/p>\n

Puok called on Sports fans across the country not to mix football with community issues.<\/p>\n

He says id if the situation continues football in Juba will lose many cadres as the impact of mixing community issues with football management.<\/p>\n

He calls on the real footballers in the state and within the capital of South Sudan to rescue the future of football in Juba.<\/p>\n

Pouk says the will of football officials and fans was kidnapped by a small group he did not name.<\/p>\n

\u201cFootball must be separated from the community, football should remain as it was before in Sudan without tribalism,\u201d Puok told Eye Radio in an inclusive interview.<\/p>\n

\u201cSince I came to this country from North Sudan, I have found the Secretary-General was somebody from the north even after independence, I have seen our Sports fraternity is not the same,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cPeople are mixing community issues with football. For us to move forward as a country I\u2019m urging all the concerned authorities to do more just like those days, but if this situation continues Juba football will lose a lot of football cadres.\u201d<\/p>\n

Puok\u2019s disappointment came after the Juba Local Football Association suspended football activities in Juba.<\/p>\n

He says the suspension forced him to resign as President of Nasir FC in Juba.<\/p>\n

Puok says he cannot continue wasting his time and money on a business that has no clear vision and future.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst, there is a dispute among the associations, second, the issue of the suspension of all sport-related activities by the suspended Juba FA. Third, the clubs don\u2019t know what the future holds as well,\u201d said Puok.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese are the three points that I look at so that I reach the point that it will be difficult for me to continue in a such situation, Although we have tried a lot to avoid such a situation,\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks like there are small groups who worked hard for this situation to continue. so, the continuation of this situation is a waste of money.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t continue wasting time and money on a business that has no clear vision and future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe main vision of clubs is to compete and to reach where El-Merreikh Juba is now, you\u2019ll end up staying for good years in vain.\u201d<\/p>\n
