Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>A group of angry South Sudanese expatriates in the Sudanese capital Khartoum have attacked a police custody resulting in the damaging of police properties, a Khartoum-based activist is being quoted by Eye Radio as saying.<\/p>\n

According to Achol Malong, the incident occurred days after police raided Hai Mayo and arrested at least four men. The activists said the one of the four men identified as Akech Ajak Ramadan, 18, later on died as result of torture.<\/p>\n

In protest, some South Sudanese together with Sudanese residents in Hai Mayo stormed \u201cYarmouk police station\u201d, and damaged some properties including vehicles and motorcycles.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn Friday, at around 10:00 AM, some South Sudanese stormed the police station together with their Sudanese friends. When they heard that the deceased had been killed and told that it was the police,\u201d Achol said. The family of the deceased has rejected to take away the body, demanding for explanations regarding the circumstance.<\/p>\n
