Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The acting head chief in the border town of Nimule and women leader have been summoned to appear in court for allegedly having mobilized an anti-demolition protest last Wednesday<\/p>\n

That\u2019s according to the chief of Nimule Quarter Council, David Otto.<\/p>\n

Koma James was arrested last Wednesday on orders by the President of Eastern Equatoria High Court following a protest by Nimule Women\u2019s Association after a court ordered the demolition of their center that was allegedly built on someone\u2019s land..<\/p>\n

He was released on bail at the weekend.<\/p>\n

According to David Otto who is the Chief of Nimule Quarter Council, acting chief Koma has been accused of instigating violence and mobilizing women\u2019s groups against the local court order on the demotion of the center.<\/p>\n

Otto says the high court equally summoned acting head chief Koma James, the accused landlady Asienzo Dominica, and the leader of the Women\u2019s Association Grace Keje to appear before the court of law on Monday.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe high court also summoned Koma James, Asienzo Dominica Atara, and Women Leader Grace Keje to all appear before the high court on 11 September for mobilizing women to protest the local court demotion order of the women center,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

They are expected answer to the charges labeled against them.<\/p>\n
