Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Authorities in Nagero County in Western Equatoria State said they are searching for the culprit who murdered the county\u2019s education director last week.<\/p>\n

Richard Sereberani was shot dead on 9 September at midnight by an unknown assailant at his residence in Nagero. He has been the education director in Nagero County since 2016.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Radio Tamazuj on Wednesday, Nagero County Commissioner Gabriel Nvolo said he has ordered security personnel to hunt down, arrest, and ensure the suspect faces justice.<\/p>\n

He however said it is very hard to identify the perpetrator because the incident happened at night but that there is an ongoing investigation.<\/p>\n

“Up to now we have not arrested the suspect but the security forces are working. They are searching in all the places in the area,\u201d Nvolo said. \u201cSince this person (deceased) came here, he had no problem with anyone and we do not understand how this incident happened to him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The commissioner described the late Sereberani as a good and God-fearing man who always interacted with the community.<\/p>\n
