Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>President Salva Kiir has directed relevant institutions involved in Sudan peace mediation efforts to prepare the ground for the upcoming dialogue between Sudanese warring parties.<\/p>\n

This is according to Presidential Advisor on Security Affairs, Tut Gatluak Manime.<\/p>\n

Gatluak spoke after a meeting of President Kiir and the Deputy Chairman of Sudan\u2019s Sovereign Council Malik Agar met to discuss the conclusion of the Sudanese political parties to the Juba Peace Agreement.<\/p>\n

Leaders from various Sudanese political parties have been meeting in Juba this week to review the Juba Agreement for Peace in Sudan, while pushing for an end to the ongoing conflict.<\/p>\n

Sudan\u2019s Ambassador Jamal Malik reportedly said the Sudanese people welcomed all the Juba\u2019s initiatives, aimed at restoring peace and social cohesion in his country.<\/p>\n

While it is not clear when the Sudanese Army and the Rapid Support Forces will meet in Juba, similar talks between the warring parties mediated, by the U.S. and Saudi Arabia, have already started in Jeddah yesterday.<\/p>\n
