Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>An official at the national Ministry of Public Service is encouraging government institution to emulate the National Communication Authority and conduct transparent recruitment of civil servants.<\/p>\n

The NCA Directorate, through private firm Bridge Employment Solution, conducted a written test to 3,000 candidates for 87 positions at the Freedom Hall in Juba on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The advertised job vacancies include Information Technology Officers, Customs Clearance, facilities officers, state coordinators, finance analyst, Postal Service Regulatory Officer, and Planning Resource Officer.<\/p>\n

Others are Traffic Analysis Service Officer, Numbering and Planning officer, Value added Service Officer and many more.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Api, the Director of Human Resource in the national Ministry of Public Service said the realignment exercise is meant to place the right person on the right job.<\/p>\n

Api urged other government institution to do the same for effective and efficient civil service in the country.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe encourage other government agencies to take it upon themselves to conduct similar recruitment and re-arrangement exercise to place the right people in the right position for efficiency and effective civil service,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Mr Apil said this is to enable the institution to deliver services to the people of South Sudan.<\/p>\n
