Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>President Salva Kiir on Sunday traveled to the Egyptian capital Cairo in a working visit that will see him hold talks with counterpart, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.<\/p>\n

According to the Office of the President, the two leaders will meet on bilateral issues that are of interest to both countries.<\/p>\n

President Kiir\u2019s spokesperson, Lily Adhieu Martin Manyiel said the two leaders would discuss a range of bilateral issues, including exchanging views on collective regional matters.<\/p>\n

The president was seen off at Juba International Airport by the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny and other senior government officials.<\/p>\n

It is Kiir\u2019s second trip to Cairo in four months since his July 2023 trip to attend the Summit of Sudan\u2019s neighbors to deliberate on ways to resolve the ongoing conflict.<\/p>\n
