Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>South Sudan\u2019s U15 football team on Friday crushed toothless Djibouti opponents 12-0 in the Council for East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) Boys Championship in Uganda.<\/p>\n

South Sudan captain Lazarus Peter commanded the youngsters to a big comeback after their disappointing lose to Uganda.<\/p>\n

He netted in the first minute of the game and went on to score six more goals in the 21\u2032 22\u2032 30\u201963 70\u2032- and 89\u2032-minutes summing to a double hattrick.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Anur Loburu scored two goals in the 13th and 69th minutes while and Louis Domano, Ajo Lomoro and David Biel scored in the 15th, 45th and 87th minutes respectively.<\/p>\n

The Bright Stars win follows their 1-1 draw against Ethiopia on November 4, and the upsetting 3-0 loss to Uganda on November 7.<\/p>\n

The South Sudan youngsters are now waiting for the outcome of the Uganda and Ethiopia clash on Friday, and their place will be secured if Uganda Hippos beat the Walia.<\/p>\n

South Sudan has been drawn in group A alongside Uganda, Ethiopia and Djibouti.<\/p>\n

The other four teams in Group B of the CECAFA competition are Zanzibar, Somalia, Rwanda and Tanzania.<\/p>\n

The CECAFA U-15 Championship tournament kicked off on November 4th at the FUFA Technical Center in Njeru and will conclude on the 18th.<\/p>\n

The tournament is part of the Zonal teams\u2019 preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) U-17 qualifiers next year.<\/p>\n
