Africa-Press – South-Sudan. <\/strong><\/span>The Director-General of National Traffic Police has issued a directive stating that vehicles traveling to other countries and states are required to pay a fee of 20,000 South Sudanese Pounds.<\/p>\n

The directive, issued on November 4, 2023, by General Major General Kon John Akot, instructs all chief inspectors at national bus stations to enforce this order.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis order is cited as standing order No 1 to all chief inspector of National Bus Parks stations; you are directed to issue travelling document to the vehicle going to other countries and states with payment of SSP 20,000,\u201d read the order by General Akot.<\/p>\n

Gen. Akot, has also instructed police personnel to record the names of passengers, vehicle registration numbers, and final destinations.<\/p>\n

His directive stated that any traffic violations will be subject to punishment, with offenders being required to pay a fine not exceeding 10,000 South Sudanese Pounds.<\/p>\n

This highlights the authorities\u2019 commitment to ensuring adherence to traffic laws and regulations.<\/p>\n
